In a typical year, the TechnologyGuide Media Group and its seven consumer and business technology sites looks at and reviews hundreds of new and interesting products, many of which undergo a range of standardized testing in our recently revamped Test Lab facilities in Newton, MA. Systems and software are also tested in-house or in the field by experts for usability, functionality and general practicality-all in an effort to provide useful and relevant buying information to our readers.
As we test new technology and systems, some products stand out in terms of their design, operation and performance. Our editors periodically recognize these exceptional products by bestowing the prestigious Editors’ Choice award that signifies that a product has goes above and beyond to deliver excellence and value. It is not an award given lightly, and is usually based on recommendations from a number of editors as well as our test results.
The following is a list of products that have been reviewed by our staff and have earned the NotebookReview Editors’ Choice Award last year (2012)and have been recognized with that honor so far this year. We have had the pleasure of experiencing and working with these products and hope you take the time to review why they were selected to receive this award.
