Energy Tests
The Lexmark C792de uses a good amount of energy – anywhere from 600-800W – when printing, warming up, etc. and it spiked as high as 1200W during a few tests.

When sitting idle or users are scrolling the touch panel, the C792de pulls in between 30-60W of energy at any given time.

In sleep, however, the C792de earns its Energy Star rating with a mere 6W of energy being pulled in. The C792de automatically cycles into sleep mode after a period of non use or users can press the sleep mode button on the control panel.

  • Ease of use (love the touch panel, apps)
  • Quick, color accurate documents and images
  • Business features (Print and Hold, Toner Saver)

  • USB functionality doesn’t recognize Word Docs
  • Takes up a good amount of space

The Lexmark C792de is designed with medium to large workgroups in mind and both its size and price tag can vouch for that. But if you are a business owner or manager with a heavy workflow and a need for color, the C792de is an excellent option.

It offers incredibly quick print speeds, precise color matching, quality text prints, a variety of office solutions, eco friendly features, an easy to use color touchscreen, built-in networking, multiple finishing options and security features.

And as far as consumables go, lexmark offers both standard capacity toner replacements (approx. yield 6,000 pages) as well as extra high yield toner replacements (approx. yield 20,00 pages) so businesses can work with their printing needs.

The Lexmark C792de is available now through Lexmark directly or authorized resellers for the suggested retail price of $1599.

Supplies are also available through the Lexmark website. A set of extra high yield toner cartridges (CMYK) will set businesses back $1,842.96 (with an average yield of 20,000 pages) while a set of standard capacity toner cartridges $1,046.96 (with an average yield of 6,000 pages).

Lexmark offers a 1-year warranty with onsite next day business service.
