Lift from directly below the control panel to access the inside of the MF3010, and then lift once again to access the toner cartridge compartment. Canon provides one “starter cartridge” with the shipment, the Black Toner Cartridge 125. It has a 1,600-page yield.

Lift at the very top to access the 24-bit color flatbed scanner. Due to the compact size of the MF3010, the scanner can only fit media up to the 8.5 x 11 letter size. The scanner has a resolution of up to 600 x 600 dpi. Media can be saved in hi-compression PDF, searchable PDF, PDF, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, and PNG formats.

The backside of the MF3010 is where the power and High-Speed USB 2.0 cables are connected. On the sides are two holding handles for easier carrying.
