The Brother HL-4570cdwt is a highly functional device with only very small issues coming up during our review. I think the biggest issue we had was that I couldn’t get the HL-4570cdwt to recognize a Microsoft Word document when using the front side USB port. Which is pretty small when you think about all the features that did work: print speeds up to 30 ppm, a solid Toner Saver mode, quality prints, automatic duplexing, a large monthly duty cycle, dual paper drawers and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, the list goes on and on.
I’m not sure about a home office, but I would definitely recommend the Brother HL-4570cdwt to a small or medium business in need of a fully functional printer. The $599.99 price tag might be a bit much for a small office but if that’s the case, consider the HL-4570cdw. It offers all of the same features minus the second 500-sheet drawer for $100 less. Plus, both models can be used with Brother’s High Yield Toner cartridges, bringing the cost per page down over the long run.
