Quick Take

A solid choice for small workgroups looking to add color to their print options.

Brother introduced four new color LED devices for the small office and business space that are up to four times faster than competing laser-class printers.

The single function HL-3075cw is among the new arrivals along with the MFC-9325cw and offers print speeds up to 19 ppm, a print resolution up to 600 x 2400 dpi, 250-sheet paper tray, a front side USB port and wireless connectivity.

Today, we’ll be sharing our full review of the HL-3075cw, building upon the hands-on first look we published last month.  You’ll get information on ease-of-use, print speeds, print quality, energy use and more!  See if the Brother HL-3075cw might be the perfect fit for your small office.

Build & Design
The HL-3075cw is replacing the HL-3070cw in Brother’s LED lineup and looks very similar with the gray and black box, simple control panel with a single line LCD, single sheet multipurpose tray and 250-sheet paper cassette. Even the dimensions are the same at 16 x 18 x 10 inches.

The control panel runs along the front of the HL-3075cw and along with the single line LCD, you’ll find the two directional navigation, five quick news, two LED lights and a front side USB port.

Pull down the front side panel to use the single sheet multipurpose tray. The multipurpose tray can handle a variety of media including letter, legal, envelopes, labels, etc. The adjustable 250-sheet paper tray is located directly beneath.

Lift up from above the control panel to access the four TN210 toner cartridges (CMYK). The HL-3075cw comes with a set of four starter cartridges with a page yield of 1,000 pages.

Access the 64MB memory on the side panel while you’ll find all connections on the back of the HL-3075cw. Connectivity options include: Hi-Speed USB 2.0, Ethernet and Wireless.
