Pros: Advanced graphics
Cons: Very repetative and BORING!!!
You go from dark room to dark room shooting zombies. You have to constantly toogle between the flashlight and weapon because it is always DARK!!
Very scarry, awesome weapons= Good game

Cons: It does ge ta little borring foing through dark hallways. The only thing you can do is adjust the brightness in the game settings.
Very Nice Looking But Thats It...

Pros: Top Notch Graphics no matter what quality you use, though nothing beats High and Very High. Low and Medium still looks nice if your 3D card can handle any settings. Neat to see old Classic Doom monsters in real 3D. Great to play in the dark with headphones on. The reason I give a thumbs down is I don't think it?s worth buying. I played it once and has sat on my self ever since. Rent it if you can first.
Cons: Where to Start.. Storyline (can we say HalfLife), Dark, very dark game (if you don't use MODS). To much switching from Flashlight to weapon and shooting blindly. Game gets repetitive as you have read, open door, shoot, open door, shoot. I would of liked to seen less of the Laboratory and maybe more of Hell. Nice weapons but they lack umph. Shooting the Chain gun just isn?t the same as the original. Great first time through, haven?t gotten more than halfway the 2nd time.
This game rocks!

Pros: If you are a fan of the original Doom then you will love this game...it is really like remaking a classic movie with state of the art technology...it only improves what was already great! The graphics are amazing and there is always something to see while you explore the virtual world. The monsters really have improved and attack with fuild movement...the game is great!
Cons: None
Can't load it

Pros: Can't give any pros since I cannot even load it. My computer is only a few months old, less than a year and runs XP. The guy n the store said the graphics would take a lot of power. Thought I had enough, but apparently not.. ;

Awesome graphics, sound and game.

Pros: Best graphics ever seen to this date, amazing sound which keeps you constantly on edge the whole time.
Cons: Little dark, but it is part of the horror atmosphere. I found that going into options and increasing the brightness a little solved the problem.
Great follow-up for the Doom series

Pros: Good graphics, and sound. Though not as challanging as HL it's got a real got atmothere and ambionse which really makes it a great experience. Also makes you jump when you least expect it!
Cons: Could have more of a plot other than running for your life and shooting zombies!
Have to agree with many others: IT IS BORING

Pros: Enough said, graphics are nice (arent they should be by end of 2004??)
Cons: To get more fun at gamin, play AAO or something, this game is nothing like it.
Completely familiar, totally different.

Pros: More like being in a movie than any game I've played. Extremely creepy environment, an impression much enhanced by the ambient sounds. Lack of a music soundtrack was odd at first, but music would have interfered with the ambience. The monsters are astonishing, and they get smarter as you go. The game IS dark, but there is an in-game brightness control, which is set to "dark" by default, so you could play with this, but I recommend you wait 'till night, turn off the lights, turn up the sound, and get in there. DOOM3 runs surprisingly well on my modest (~$100) graphics card, so if you have a reasonably new system, you may not necessarily have to go into hock for more hardware.
Cons: OK, so this is, in fact, DOOM. Remember DOOM? Like, 11 years ago? You go around shooting stuff. There IS a 'plot' this time, and a certain amount of mystery, but sophisticated modern gameplay will have to wait for a sequel, or another designer. Keep in mind, id has historically used the first game with a new engine just to explore the capabilities of the engine...
and in this case they are impressive.
Lame gameplay, dark and predictable

Pros: There are moments where it's not so dark and you can see the graphics and they are cool, but these moments are rare.
Cons: boring game. bad guys popping out of dark place all the time. I only played the first shapter but what I saw did not make me want to buy it.
