The Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 is an affordable gaming and media focused notebook. Priced roughly at $1,250 (at the time the unit was reviewed) the notebook hardly describes what many consumers would call affordable. Still, in the gaming world the Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 is about as cost-conscious as it gets. The Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 offers a suitable level of performance. With a 2.4 GHz Intel i7-3630QM processor, 16GB of RAM, and Nvidia GT 650M graphics the notebook tackles everything from basic word processing to high-end gaming with extreme ease.
