The latest and greatest revision of the Alienware M17x, the R4 packs the latest technology into a modestly updated exterior. This 17.3-inch monster includes the latest 2GB Nvidia GTX 680M graphics and an Intel quad-core processor. At almost 10 pounds and two inches thick, build quality is extremely solid. The Alienware M17x once again comes highly recommended as a high-end gaming and multimedia platform. The M17x starts at $1,500 though a configuration with superior options comes in at around $2,500. The best doesn’t come cheap.
