To test the picture quality, I hooked up the projector to my laptop computer via VGA out. The VGA cord then plugs into the projector using the computer input (M1-DA). In order to give you a rough idea of how the projector output turned out, I took a couple snapshots. One snapshot is a nature scene and the another is a PowerPoint presentation. I stress “rough” because a camera cannot capture the true output as you’d see in real life. The following pictures are to give you an idea–I suggest checking out this projector in action at a Infocus Dealer near you. Now, onto the pictures.
The picture quality was sharp and bright. With the 1024×768 resolution and 1000 Max ANSI lumens, the LP120 would be adequate for the daytime viewing of presentations. Although it’s it should be clear that this projector is not intended for home theater use, I played a movie through it. The picture quality was average to say the best. I would not recommend this projector for movie viewing unless you are in a pinch. Infocus makes the X1/X2 projector which I highly recommend for home theater purposes. Next >>
