Praises and Complaints

The Fujitsu S6210 laptop comes installed with Microsoft Windows XP Home edition, and also a mediocre software bundle. The list of software included can be found below:

Bundled Software

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Works 7.0, EarthLink, and Intuit Quicken 2004 New User Editions, Netscape 6, Norton Anti-Virus 20047, PowerQuest Drive Image Special Edition, InterVideo WinDVD, Fujitsu HotKey Utility, Fujitsu Driver Update Utility, and LifeBook Application Panel

Application Software on CD

  • InterVideo WinDVD Creator Plus

The only software that I have found useful is Adobe Acrobat Reader (saves the trouble of having to download this off the Internet), Internet Explorer, Quicken, Norton Anti-Virus (90 day trial), WinDVD, and of course the software to run the application panel in front of the screen. The rest of the software could be useful if you have a specific need for that software.
