The Eurocom M4 is one of the notebooks we’re able to give an Editor’s Choice award without much second thought. Its only real downside is the relatively loud fan, which turns on while gaming.

The M4 otherwise excels in just about every area. It has great gaming performance as configured, a beautiful QHD+ (3200×1800) display, good touchpad, backlit keyboard, solid quality, and gets about 6 hours of battery life under light usage. The M4 is a little chunky compared to a standard 13.3-inch notebook, but this isn’t an ordinary 13.3-inch notebook.

Our review unit was $1,466 as configured up from a starting price of $953; a more practical configuration with a less-powerful Core i7-4700MQ processor and a non-Pro Windows operating system would come in closer to $1,200. We think it’s a good value at this price point considering what’s inside. Overall we’re happy to recommend the Eurocom M4 especially to gamers and extend it our Editor’s Choice.
