Small and medium size businesses will have more partners to turn to with the updated Xerox eConcierge, a cloud-based supplies replenishment service for Xerox and non-Xerox networked office printers and multifunction printers (MFPs). In addition to SMBs being able to access eConcierge through Xerox channel partners, the vendor is also allowing resellers who buy through Xerox’s distribution partner Supplies Network to offer the program to their customers.
Xerox is also enhancing eConcierge with the Xerox Replacement Cartridge line, a lower-cost, high-quality alternative to OEM cartridges.
According to the vendor, eConcierge allows partners to help their customers save money on supplies as well as get free Xerox printer service for life with Xerox eConcierge for as long as businesses place orders with the service. This free service offering has an estimated worth of $1,280 on average for each eligible Xerox printer or MFP.
eConcierge allows users manage and automate printer supply orders for all eligible equipment, including Xerox, HP, Samsung, lexmark and Brother. Via a Supplies Assistant application downloaded to a desktop device, networked printers are automatically discovered and users can check printer status anytime, including when a device is running low on ink or toner.
Users also get proactive alerts or re-order reminders to avoid running out of replacements, consolidated online tracking, pre-population of order info for review and one stop shopping, and a one click status report, according to the company.
