Xerox introduced two new additions to their WorkCentre lineup, the WorkCentre 7545 and WorkCentre 7556, color multifunction printers aimed at medium sized businesses and large enterprises.
The WorkCentre 7545 and WorkCentre 7556 will offer five functionalities – print, scan, copy, fax and e-mail – in a smaller footprint (compared to previous generations) thanks to the LED technology employed as well as print speeds up to 45 and 50 pages per minute, respectively.
As well as being business practical, the new WorkCentre’s are also environmentally responsible with features such as the Earth Smart print drivers, Xerox’s Emulsion Aggregate Ultra Low-Melt toner, induction heat fusing and an LED scanner. Both are also Energy Star qualified.
Both new units also offer standard security features including hard disk encryption, image overwrite and network authentication. Additional offerings include a front side USB port, a print resolution up to 1200 x 2400 dpi, Xerox’s Color by Words, built-in networking and a standard paper capacity of 1140 sheets.
The new WorkCentre models are now available through Xerox direct sales and authorized vendors for the starting suggested retail price of $19,398.
