Xerox releases survey on office print habits

A new Zogby survey commissioned by Xerox found that office workers can often be frustrated by their office printers and copiers.

The survey of more than 2,000 office workers found that over half of the respondents have had to deal with toner/ink messes when changing the cartridges in their office machines.

About 10% of the respondents also admitted to putting off print or copy jobs if the toner/ink is low until someone else changes the cartridge.

In light of the Zogby survey, Xerox has decided to highlight their solid ink line of printers.  The solid ink printers use solid sticks of resin-based ink so they are easy to replace.

They also are more environmentally friendly; the packaging is made of recycled goods and there is no empty toner/ink cartridge to throw away.
