Xerox added two new single function monochrome lasers to their Phaser lineup, the Phaser 4600 and Phaser 4620, earlier today.
The new desktop additions are designed with large workgroups in mind and replace the Phaser 4510 in the monochrome print portfolio. They also offer the first-ever full-speed 500-sheet finisher for a Xerox product in this class along with automatic duplexing, built-in wireless capabilities and a maximum paper capacity of 3,750 sheets.
The Phaser 4600 will be sold in three configurations: the 4600n, the 4600dn and the 4600dt. All three models will offer print speeds up to 55ppm, a print resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, a monthly duty cycle up to 275,000 pages, a 700 MHz processor with 256MB standard and built-in networking.
The Phaser 4600dn adds standard automatic duplexing and the Phaser 4600dt adds automatic duplexing and an additional 550 sheet tray for a total paper capacity of 1200 sheets.
The Phaser 4620 comes in two configurations: the 4620dn and the 4620dt. Both models include print speeds up to 65ppm, automatic duplexing, a monthly duty cycle up to 275,000 pages, a 700 MHz processor with 256MB memory standard and built-in networking.
The Phaser 4620dt also adds an additional 550 sheet paper tray for a total paper capacity of 1200 sheets.
Both the Phaser 4600 and the Phaser 4620 models are available now through Xerox Direct or authorized resellers for the starting prices of $1099 and $1599, respectively.
