Xerox Aims for Graphic Excellence with Phaser 7800

Xerox announced the Phaser 7800 color laser printer, the latest introduction in the graphic design space and the only tabloid-size color printer in its class offering faster print speeds and larger array of media handling and finishing options.

The Phaser 7800 design is focused on giving graphic design professionals the best in color matching capabilities with licensed PANTONE color reproduction and PhaserMatch 5.0 featuring the PhaserMeter Color Measurement Device using X-Rite and Adobe PostScript 3.

With a print speeds up to 45 ppm and a print resolution up to 1200 x 2400 dpi, the Phaser 7800 can handle a variety of media ranging in weights from 75 to 300 gsm and sizes including calendars, photos and postcard.

Like other recently announced products from Xerox, the Phaser 7800 will offer Hi-Q LED print engine in conjunction with the low-melt EA Toner and a heat-efficient fuser for a start time in less than 15 seconds.

Other features include automatic duplexing and a 4.3-inch color touch screen. Customers can add several finishing options including professional booklet making, creasing and hold punching.

The Xerox Phaser 7800 color laser printer is available now through Xerox and authorized vendors for the suggested retail price of $4599.
