VIA has stated it will launch 45nm dual-core processors by the end of 2009.

More information has been revealed about the initial dual-core processor, based on the Isaiah architecture. It will have a 2.0GHz clockspeed, 800-1333MHz V4 bus, 2x 64KB L1 cache, and 2x 1MB of L2 cache. It will be manufactured on a 65nm process and be pin-compatible with VIA’s C7 processors.

VIA expects to double or triple on-year processor shipments; it has already shipped more processors in the first half of this year than it did in all of 2007.
