Kyocera Mita launched two new black and white TASKalfa Multifunction Products (MFPs); the TASKalfa 305 and 255, providing businesses with improved functionality and a lower price point, according to the company.
Incorporating the manufacturer’s Simple Management and Replacement Technology (SMARTtech), the new devices benefit from:
- Easy to print, copy, color scan and fax
- Lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) in its class
- Ease of operation
- Ultra reliability for maximum uptime
The TASKalfa 305 and 255, have output speeds of 30 pages per minute (ppm) and 25ppm, respectively, and both have a print/copy resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and scan resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. Other features the two devices share are standard 512MB RAM upgradable to 1.5GB and standard duplex.
The TASKalfa 305 has a maximum monthly volume of 50,000 pages while the maximum monthly volume for the TASKalfa 255 is 40,000 pages. Both MFPs integrate with Active Directory to help administrators and compliance officers give access to only those individuals with pre-approved credentials. The devices can also be configured with Kyocera’s Card Authentication kit to limit physical access control via HID/Prox.
The products are designed with information and security features that businesses demand which means that once the devices are turned off, all resident data is eliminated.
Both MFPs are available through authorized Kyocera Mita dealers at a suggested retail price (MSRP) of $5,879 for the TASKalfa 305 and $4.679 for the TASKalfa 255.
