Toshiba Satellite L350: A 17-inch Laptop For Only $750

Toshiba today announced a new addition to its 17.1-inch desktop replacement laptop line with the Satellite L350 series, with dual-core processors and an affordable starting price of $749.99.

The new Satellite L350 offers some basic multimedia features including a large 17.1-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite display, built-in Webcam, ATI Radeon X1250 graphics and a DVD SuperMulti drive with Labelflash. More importantly, consumers have a choice of dual core processors from either AMD or Intel.

 

The Satellite L350 series is available in several configurations, including the Satellite L355D-S7810, which features an AMD TurionTM 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60 processor.

As previously mentioned, Toshiba is also offering a version of the L350 with an Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 processor and 3GB of system RAM that retails for $799.99.

Clearly, the big news here is that you can now buy a big desktop replacement with tons of screen real estate and tons of storage from a reliable company for less than $800. That’s pretty impressive.
