The Sony VAIO SE 15.5-inch multimedia notebook is now available for purchase and shipping. Starting at $999.99, it weighs just 4.4 lbs with the standard battery (5.77 with the extended slice battery) and is a shade under an inch thin. It is available with the latest Intel dual-core processors including the Core i3/i5/i7, up to 8GB of RAM, and hard drive and SSD options. Additionally, it features a backlit keyboard, USB 3.0, and has a 1080p (1920×1080) screen resolution.
The VAIO SE is available in two colors, black and silver.
