The new series is available in three colors: "Wenge" (brown with copper accents), "Silk" (bright white with a matte finish), and "Granite" (silver). The notebooks feature a leather-like textured chassis with a slim design incorporating rounded corners and beveled edges.
The NR models feature a 15.4-inch widescreen display with XBRITE-ECO LCD (glossy screen) technology, which delivers razor-sharp details and crisp, bold colors. The notebooks also feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors (on select models) and come pre-installed with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.
As seen on other VAIO notebooks, the NR series allows you to conveniently access your music, movies, and photos thanks to an integrated A/V Mode which launches a dedicated media menu putting your entertainment within easy reach by letting quickly satisfy your entertainment needs without starting Windows.
The VAIO NR series will be available online with complete specifications listed at www.sony.com/pr/nr
