Sculpteo Turns Profiles into Art with 3D Print App

Sculpteo has turned your face into a vase with its new 3D Printing Application, the first of its kind using human data transferred from a mobile device to create a 3D printed object.

Don’t understand what that means? Well, users will bring up the Sculpteo App on their device and then take a photograph of a friend or themselves. The outline of this image is then converted into a 3D image in the shape of an object of your choosing – think vase, plate, mug, bowl, etc. – made from Sculpteo 3D printing materials.

Users can edit the design of their object by changing the size, dimensions, color and/or material then calculate the price of the object via
