Samsung SC770 Brings Multitouch to Samsung Displays, SC750 Adds Flair

The Series 7 SC770 is Samsung’s first touch-sensitive monitor, and it’s optimized for the multitouch-capable Windows 8 operating system. It uses a capacitive multitouch panel to let users use all ten of their fingers simultaneously with Windows 8’s new applications. The SC770 comes with a tilting display capable of 60° movement – regrettably, it won’t lay flat. It uses a high-color, MVA panel, with wide viewing angles. The 24-inch panel offers a standard 1920×1080 resolution.

Samsung’s second new monitor being shown off is the SC750 – it passes over the multitouch capability in favor of offering users a striking silver design, 27-inch, 1080p panel, and a static, 5000:1 contrast ratio. 

For now, Samsung is keeping mum on pricing, though the company did say that both monitors should be available within the first quarter of 2013. In the meantime, however, you can check out the rest of the specs in the table below:
