South Korea is home to some of the most successful companies in the tech sector. It’s also home to some lesser known players such as Ripple, who today introduced the next model in their budding nettop lineup. The Ripple Look is a sleek piece of kit, and this time, it might have the brains to match its beauty: inside of the box beats the heart of an AMD Brazos APU.
The AMD Zacate E-350 CPU runs at 1.6GHz, and is partnered up with AMD’s Radeon HD 6310 graphics. For an idea of how it might perform in real life, we can look at HP’s 100B All-in-one, which is built around similar technology. In addition to the E-350 processor, customers can expect two gigabytes of DDR3 PC10600 RAM, a 320GB hard drive and VGA and HDMI video out ports.
Coming in at just under a pound in weight, the Ripple Look is a petite box that would look at home on any desk or in anyone’s entertainment center. Ripple has remained mum so far on pricing and availability details, but hopefully the answers are “not much,” and “soon,” respectively.
