Microsoft XBox 2 Peripherals to work With Desktops and Laptops?
According to a recent interview with Dean Lester, the Microsoft Windows Gaming General Manager, Microsoft plans to make all perpherals for the XBox 2 compatible with todays windows machines. This can be interpreted to mean that the XBox 2 will likely use USB 2.0 as the port for add-ons such as controllers. This would be a good move on Microsoft’s part and a boon to consumers as we could then buy a controller or steering wheel and use it for games on both our video game system and PC. Wow, what a concept, not having so many controllers in the house you could rope their cords together and stretch them to the moon.
