Razer, known popularly for their gaming peripherals – especially mice – has snapped up the creator of the niche Mouse Bungee in order to help craft their own version. A mouse bungee is an accessory designed to sit further back on the desk, with an arm that keeps hold of the mouse’s cord.
It’s designed to let serious gamers move around the desk without the mouse cord getting in the way. In other words, it helps a corded mouse act a lot more like a cordless one.
|“I fondly remember playing the original Quake with my Mouse Bungee and I loved not having to deal with tangling wires anymore. It was a simple but innovative solution to a problem common to so many gamers” says Min-Liang Tan, CEO & Creative Director of Razer. “I’m proud to have a talent like Ed on our team and am excited about the ideas and inspiration he will bring on board.”|
The new Razer version comes with 3 non-skid feet as well as a 4 ounce weight to help stabilize the device.
There’s no word yet on homuch it’s going to cost, but Razer plans on making it available worldwide before the end of the year.
