HP announced the addition of several new products at PMA on Monday. Among them were three new inkjet printer series: the Photosmart C4600 All-in-One, Desktop D2600 and Deskjet F4400 All-in-One.
Going along with HP’s green efforts, all of the new models include the HP Eco Highlights label. The new labels will highlight “the features that reduce environmental impact. The machines are also Energy Star qualified and users will enjoy free ink cartridge recycling through HP Planet Partners.
The Photosmart C4600 All-in-One (AIO)series features print, copy and scan capabilities. It also offers print speeds up to 29 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 23 ppm in color, a 1.45 inch color display and HP touchsmart frame and photo resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dpi.
The Desktop D2600 is a single function series taking the HP green initiativeone step further;each printer is made of 50 percent recycled materials! Specifications include: print speeds up to 28 ppm in black and 21 ppm in color, photo resolution up to 4800 dpi, and a paper saving option -similar to duplexing – that allows users to print multiple pages or slides on one sheet of paper.
The Deskjet F4400AIO series offers print, scan and copy options with print speeds up to 28 ppm in black and 22 ppm in color and aphoto resolution up to 4800 dpi.
The Photosmart C4600 AIO, the Desktop D2600, and the Deskjet F4400 AIO should be available in the spring of 2009 for $99, $49, and $79, respectively.
