Our deal for this week will focus on the Lenovo ThinkPad SL510, a nicely priced small-to-medium business notebook with 2GB of RAM upgradeable to 8GB, a nice 15.6-inch screen, some Lenovo ThinkVantage applications such as Rescue and Recovery and active protection, and a decent processor. You can currently save up to $470 from the original MSRP on this notebook.

Now selling for as low as $455, the ThinkPad SL510 is built with an Intel Core 2 Duo T6670 with a clock speed of 2.2GHz and runs on Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit. The 15.6-inch screen is LED backlit and anti-glare and has a maximum display resolution of 1366 x 768. The back cover has a matte finish.

The battery included with the system is a 6-cell Li-Ion that has been tested by Lenovo to deliver 4 hours of power. With our ThinkPad SL510 configuration, the battery was tested to deliver 3 hours and 53 minutes.

The graphics card installed in this system is an Intel GMA 4500MHD.

The hard drive has 250GB of storage at 5400rpm but may be upgraded to 320GB for $30 extra if you decide to customize this notebook through Lenovo’s online store. You may take features away, upgrade them, or decide to add them at your disposal with a base price of $609.

Also included in the base configuration price is Intel HD Graphics, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB of hard drive storage at 5400rpm. The notebook cover has a glossy finish.
