OKI Data Americas introduced several new multifunction printers- the MC361, the MC561 and the MB700 series – targeted at small and medium sized workgroups under the OKI Printing Solutions brand this morning.
The MC361 and MC561, replacing the previous generation MC360 and the MC560, will offer OKI’s Single Pass Color Digital LED technology for quick first page print speeds as fast as 7.5 seconds (for the MC561) as well as print, scan, copy and fax functionality.
The entry level MC361 will focus on the needs of small workgroups with print speeds up to 25 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 23 ppm in color, a print resolution up to 1200 x 600 dpi, a maximum monthly duty cycle up to 45,000 pages, 533 MHz processor with 256 MB of standard memory, a 3.5-inch tilting LCD, banner printing up to 52 inches in length and 350-sheet standard paper capacity.
The MC561 is still suitable for small workgroups but would also find a fit in a mid-sized business. The MC561 features print speeds up to 31 ppm in black and 27 ppm in color, a 533 MHz processor with 256 MB of standard memory, 4 GB SD card storage standard, a monthly duty cycle up to 60,000 pages, 3.5-inch adjustable LCD and a 350-sheet standard paper capacity.
Both the new color multifunction products are Energy Star certified with energy efficient features including Power-Save mode, Deep Sleep mode and Automatic ECO mode. The OKI MC361 and MC561 will be available this month for $549 and $749, respectively.
OKI also announced the MB700 series of multifunction monochrome printers. The MB700 series will consist of three configurations – the MB780, the MB790f and the MB790m – targeted at the medium sized business/workgroup.
The MB780 is the base model configuration with the standard 9-inch touch screen LCD, 36,000 page toner capacity, a 600 MHz processor with 256 MB of standard memory, print speeds up to 55 ppm, a print resolution up 1200 x 1200 dpi, a monthly duty cycle up to 275,000 pages, built-in networking and a 650-sheet paper capacity.
