OKI Data Americas, a subsidiary of OKI Data Corp., Japan, received BERTYL’s prestigious Five Stars, Exceptional rating for its recently announced C610 Series and C711 Series of color printers.

BERTYL’s Five Stars: Exceptional rating is reserved exclusively for devices that deliver an outstanding range of business-critical features and functions, are innovative, easy to use, well-designed and represent exceptional value for the money for their target user base. The Business Equipment Research and Test Laboratories, Inc. (BERTYL), is an independent testing laboratory based in Fairfield, NJ that reviews several hundred copiers, printers, fax, multifunction, color and production devices annually.

“We were impressed with the image quality, the exceptional performance and features capabilities of these devices,” said Hugo Palacios, senior analyst at BERTYL, adding that they stood above comparable products in their class.

The C610 and C711 Series of color LED digital printers increase the impact of color output, offer maximum efficiency for medium to large workgroups and provide users the flexibility and ability to print on a variety of media allowing color document production to take place in-house in an effort to reduce costs and save time.

According to OKI Data specs, the C610 Series, comprised of four models, is the fastest in its class offering color output at up to 32 pages per minute and black and white at up to 34 pages per minute.

The high-volume C711 series, offered in three models, offers fast print speeds with color output at up to 34 pages per minute and monochrome at 36 pages per minute.

OKI Data revamped its color LED line with four new models including the C610 and C711 Series as well as the more recently introduced C330dn and the C530dn.

In business for 16 years, BERTYL tests all new device entrants and will, according to Palacios, test the C330dn and C530dn in the next couple of weeks.
