OCZ has been putting out SSD after SSD for years now, and they’ve even gotten to a second revision of their more affordable line of PCI-e solid state drives. Similar to the the blazingly fast Z-Drive, just scaled back a bit, the RevoDrive bypasses the SATA bus entirely in an attempt to get faster and faster transport speeds.

Available in multiple different configurations ranging from 100 – 980GB, the RevoDrive X2 has been bragging pretty hard.  Arranged in an internal RAID 0 configuration, the RevoDrive offers up to 740MB/s read speeds and up to 720 or 690MB/s write speeds (depending on drive model).

While the drives are definitely available, they’re already looking pricey; the 100GB model is being listed at $465 at some online retailers, and the prices only go up from there.  They definitely promise some high speeds – and for those who need it fast, OCZ is there to rake it in.
