Nvidia and ATI are planning to launch their next-generation Radeon HD 4800 and GeForce GTX 200 graphics cards respectively in June.
Mid-June will see the launch of the ATI Radeon HD 4800 series, with the HD 4850 being the launch card. The 4870 will follow in late June, and the dual-GPU solution 4870 X2 in the fourth quarter. We wrote in detail about the Radeon HD 4800 yesterday.
Nvidia will release its high-end GTX 200 competitor in mid-June as well with a second-gen unified shader architecture. The launch cards will be the GTX 260 and GTX 280.
