New Fujitsu LifeBook E8000 Series

Fujitsu has updated its LifeBook E Series from the E4000 line to the Fujitsu LifeBook E8000 Series.  The new E8000 models include the new Intel Dothan processor, up to 1.8GHz.  The E8000 series is targeted at business users.  It has a slew of security features, a vivid 15.1″ display, up to 80GB hard drive, built-in Bluetooth, dual pointing with integrated touchpad, hot-swap ultra bay, ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 with 64MB of RAM (this is very good for a business notebook) and a 1-year international warranty.

This notebook is on sale at laptopsinc.com, it’s not even on the Fujitsu site yet!

NotebookReview.com Moderator Awards

The NotebookReview.com Forums are growing and they’re a great resource for those asking questions about purchasing a new laptop, or dealing with the one they currently have.  These forums couldn’t be successful or work if it weren’t for the great moderators we have, they all do an excellent job.  We’d like to recognize some of them each month and thank those recognized by sending an Amazon gift certificate.

This months moderators we’d like to tip our caps too are:

Quikster (HP forums moderator, South Carolina USA)

nesbo (Dell forums moderator, Ohio USA)

Underpantman (Asus forums moderator, Brisbane Australia)

Venombite (Toshiba forums moderator, Ontario Canada)

All of these people are doing a supreme job answering the voluminous amounts of questions we get on the boards, and some are even asked for by name to answer questions!  They’re all busy people too, we’ve got a computer science major and med school student in this group.  Great job guys.  We have many other excellent forum moderators that will be recognized in the coming months, the gift certificate award will be open to anyone that just happens to be really helpful though so make a name for yourself in the forums and you will be recognized!
