New Fujitsu T4000 Tablet PC / Notebook Convertible

Fujitsu has always been on the cutting edge when it comes to Tablet PC computing.  They had one of the very first implementations of a Tablet PC when Microsoft started pushing this device.  Fujitsu is now pushing the envelope again with this product line, they will be releasing a T4000 Tablet PC / Notebook convertible on October 21 with a price point of $2,019.  The big news with this device is that it supports modular drives.  Meaning you can swap in a DVD writer, CD Burner or second battery to the modular bay depending on your needs.  And with a weight of 4.7 pounds the T4000 isn’t too heavy for carrying around.  eChannelLine has an interesting short interview with the director of mobile product marketing regarding the new Fujitsu T4000 release, that article can be found here: http://www.integratedmar.com/ecl-usa/story.cfm?item=18808.

Below is a picture we took from the FCC site a couple of months back showing the Fujitsu T4010 model Tablet PC / Notebook Convertible.
