New HP Desktops Leak Out Ahead of CES

Now, we all know that several manufacturers will be launching new laptops and desktops at CES, and we’ve even been briefed under NDA on some certainties. Unfortunately for HP, however, a number of retailers have put some of their new products up&mdsh;let’s take a look at four new desktops.

Up first is the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-170t:

  • Intel Core i5/Core i7 Quad-core CPUs
  • Up to 8GB DDR3 SDRAM
  • Discrete graphics
  • 460W Power supply
  • Launch date of 1/7
  • Starting price of $1249.99

The HP Pavilion Elite HPE-110t:

  • Discrete graphics
  • HP MediaSmart 3.0 software
  • Sleek red chassis (?)
  • Smaller, microtower case design
  • Starting price of $849.99 
  • The description doesn’t say Quad-core – possible Intel Core i3 desktop?

The HP Pavilion Elite HPE-150t:

  • Intel Quad-core CPU (probably i5, based on price)
  • Discrete graphics
  • Similar red microtower case
  • Starting price of $999.99

The higher-end HP Pavilion Elite HPE-180t:

  • Intel Core i7 Quad-core CPU
  • Maximum 8GB DDR3 SDRAM
  • Discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 graphics with 1.8GB RAM (no doubt a starting point)
  • 460W Power supply
  • Launch date of 1/7
  • Starting price of $1399.99
