Just in time for the holidays, Gateway, Inc. is debuting a new line of high-performance desktop and notebook PCs at retailers nationwide. Offered with integrated graphics, the new Gateway P-Series notebook PCs with 17-inch displays are a solid value to those requiring desktop power in a portable form factor … but who still want affordable prices.

Gateway’s P-Series meets the budget and performance needs of a wide range of consumers thanks to 17-inch widescreen Ultrabright displays, Intel Pentium Dual Core and Centrino Duo processors, integrated graphics, a gigabyte of memory, and plenty of hard drive storage space.

The multi-format, dual-layer drive offers plenty of room for storing a large library of digital music, movies and documents of all types. Accompanying LabelFlash technology enables users to laser-burn personalized images directly on CD and DVD discs to create unique, scratch-resistant labels to help organize personal movies and music.

Multiple USB 2.0 ports enable connection to most peripherals and a 5-in-1 media card reader allows the PC to read a range of digital media. The PCs also come with 802.11g wireless LAN and Windows Vista Home Premium. A partial list of specs include:
