New Color Products and Solutions from Konica Minolta

With the New Year, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc., announced new bizhub Multifunction Products (MFPs) and supporting solutions to complement existing document management technologies.

The bizhub C754/C654 series features Konica Minolta’s new INFO-Palette Design, the new bizhub MFP controller panel interface that comes with a bright 9-inch color touch screen, high resolution previewing of color documents, and a “touch & swipe” interface.

The new MFP series offers output speeds of up to 60 pages per minute (ppm) color, 75ppm black and white (C754) and 60ppm color, 65 ppm black and white (C654). Additional features include standard dual scanning, finishing options and high-impact color.

The company also announced the bizhub 42 and 36 black and white devices that print and copy at output speeds of 42 or 36 ppm. The devices also offer color scanning and a G3 fax option.

The bizhub 42/36 has the built in Konica Minolta Emperon print system with PCL6 and PostScript 3 emulation and PS functionality to fit both Windows and Mac environments.

Additional technologies included in the product announcement include: Pagescope Mobile Version 2.0- for a more secure printing environment through bizhub MFP authentication, and the ability to track and manage print volumes; SL 1000 Digital Film Scanner – a compact scanning solutions that offers advanced digital workflow for analog legacy equipment; and, Total Konica Minolta Technology Solutions – that offers a compete color solution for commercial printers including production print color Press devices (C8000/C7000/C6000/C6000L), a Konica Minolta developed Spectrodensitometer for measuring color accurately (FD-5), Konica Minolta’s (IC-601) controller, Color Care color management software, and industry First G7 Certified.
