We’ve talked about MSI’s 3D all-in-one concept before, but it looks like it’s finally hitting the market for real. The new Wind Top (the Wind brand is MSI’s version of ASUS’ Eee) is the MSI AE2420 3D, where the 3D signifies its 120Hz display. The AE2420 3D offers a 24-inch, 1920×1080 resolution screen.
MSI offers only pre-built versions of its desktops, but it does vary the configurations. Depending on the version, users will be able to pick up the new Wind Top with up to Intel Core i7 quad-core CPUs, ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 5730 graphics and built-in 10W stereo speakers.
The AE2420 3D also comes with a pair of active shutter glasses – and given the expense, users will be shelling out some serious cash if more than one person wants to experience 3D content at a time. MSI plans to showcase the new 3D all-in-one at its booth next week at Computex, and DesktopReview will be there to get some hands-on experiences.
