At CeBIT next week in Hanover, Germany, MSI is expected to show off a number of both current and future all-in-one desktops. There’s little doubt, however, that all eyes are going to be on just one: a new 24-inch model with a 120Hz panel that promises to deliver 3D gaming and media. It’s definitely a first for the form factor.
The Wind Top All-in-One 3D uses a “powerful CPU” but as far as specifications go, that’s about it. MSI is definitely keep the final details under wraps—until next week, anyway. MSI did discuss some of the other all-in-ones that they’ll be showing off, and those include Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors, so the 3D model will very likely use something from the top of the heap.
The graphics capability is likewise unreported, but odds are good that it uses something crafted by NVIDIA. The 3D-capable AiO will also come with shutter glasses so that consumers can take advantage of the enhanced viewing.
Other computers on display include MSI’s Wind Top AE2420 and Wind Top AE2280 which use 24- and 22-inch multitouch displays. Also on tap are all-in-ones with a more eco-friendly bent: the Wind Tops AP1920 and AE1920 which are 19 and 20 inches, respectively, as well as Wind Box nettop units such as the Hetis, DC520 and DE220.
