MSI today took the wraps off of a new nettop that we first saw at CES.   The new NetOn AP1900 is a new all-in-one that looks barely bigger than just a regular LCD display.  It manages such a svelte size by using the now-regular N270 Intel Atom processor and Intel GMA950 graphics.

In addition, it offers the following specifications:

  • Intel Atom N270 @ 1.6 GHz
  • Intel GMA950 integrated graphics
  • 18.5″ WXSGA (1440×900) widescreen 16:9 display
  • up to 2 GB of DDR2 RAM in one slot
  • 1.3 megapixel webcam
  • integrated HD audio
  • stereo speakers
  • 802.11b/g wireless networking, Gigabit wired networking
  • 160GB hard drive
  • DVD burner
  • 4-in-1 card reader
  • audio in/out jacks
  • 3 USB 2.0 ports
  • VGA out

The new computer can be mounted on the wall with any VESA-compatible mount, as it weighs only 8.8 pounds.  MSI says it’s only 3.5 centimeters thick and uses about 35 watts.  Moreover, thanks to it’s cooling design, it only emits 26 dB of noise, which isn’t much at all.  MSI is also calling it “the world’s slimmest all-in-one.”  The AP1900 will run about $650 when it goes on sale.
