More Citrix Ready Certifications for OKI

OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI Printing Solutions brand, added two more Citrix Ready certifications to its line of digital LED printers. The latest OKI Printing Solutions products to be verified Citrix Ready are the C610 series and C711 series, bringing the total number of OKI Printing Solutions monochrome and color digital printers to fourteen.

The Citrix Ready designation ensures compatibility of the C610 series and C711 series with Citrix XenApp, an on-demand application deliver solution that enables organizations to improve Windows application management by: centralizing applications in the data center to reduce costs; controlling and encrypting access to data and applications to improve security; and delivering applications instantly to users anywhere.

According to OKI Data Americas, the Citrix Ready certification enhances customer confidence and helps buyers make informed purchase decisions.

The certification means that OKI Printing Solutions helps make IT purchasing decisions cost effective and hassle free,” said Doug August, Senior Product Manager, Software and Solutions at OKI Data Americas.  “The Citrix Ready Certification on our new C610 Series and C711 Series of digital color LED printers attests to our continued commitment in the marketplace.”

To date, Oki Printing Solutions products awarded Citrix Ready certifications for solution compatibility with Windows Server 2008 include: B420; B430; B4600 Series; B6500 Series; C6150 Series; C710 Series; C830 Series; C9650 Series; CX3641 MFP; BM470 MFP; MC560 MFP Plus; and, MC860 MFP, according to the vendor.

The Citrix Ready program identifies tested and verified solutions that are trusted to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix, including Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, XenServer, NetScaler and GoToMeeting.
