MAINGEAR is a boutique PC maker that’s been garnering a greater and greater reputation these past few months. They’re taking a step back from the custom PC market and going retail with these preconfigured systems available only from a select few websites.

The new setups fall into one of three distinct models: the F1X 750, the F1X 500 and the F1X 200, in descending order of power and high-end components.

Interestingly enough, the new computers will only be available through either TigerDirect.com, CircuitCity.com and CompUSA.com. Despite the relatively lower exposure limiting the systems to those websites may cause, the fact that they aren’t really known for having high-end systems like the new MAINGEAR F1Xs may work in MG’s favor.

The F1X 200 will sell for $2249, the F1X 500 will sell for $3099 and the F1X 750 will go for $5149.  All three come with a 13-month warranty.
