Lexmark expands monochrome laser line

Along with two new color laser series, Lexmark announced the expansion of its monochrome laser line with the new Lexmark X204n multifunction printer this morning.

The X204n is a 4-in-1 device with print, scan, copy and fax capabilities and a 266 MHZ processor with 64 MB memory standard.  It features print speeds up to 24 pages per minute, print resolution up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, a maximum monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages, a 30-sheet ADF, a 250-sheet input drawer and Ethernet connectivity.

The newest member of the Lexmark family is Energy Star certified and features an Eco-Mode that puts the emphasis on energy efficiency for offices looking to reduce their footprint while saving some money.

The X204n will also save office space thanks to the new compact design that 31 percent smaller than the former generation and up to 32 percent smaller than its competition.

The Lexmark X204n will be available through the Lexmark website for an estimated retail value of $299.
