Following in the footsteps of HP, Lexmark announced earlier this week that they will be releasing a new line of web-connected touch screen printers.

Lexmark is targeting small to medium sized businesses – HP appears to be focusing on the home market with their Photosmart Premium with Touchsmart Web – with the three new printers expected to be launched in September.

There isn’t any additional photos or information on Lexmark’s site as of this writing but the three printers are said to feature Lexmark’s 4.3 inch myTouch touch screen and SmartSolutions technology, which allows users to set shortcuts for daily actions, manage workflows, scan double sided ID cards and access RSS feeds.

The new printers will also offer Lexmark Vizix print technology, Wi-Fi, Eco Mode (aka automatic duplexing), and business card scans.

The whole product line is to be showcased in early September; prices will range from $199 to $399.
