Along with the X264 MFP and the X360 MFP series, Lexmark announced the addition of the X460 series of monochrome laser multifunction printers today.

The X466de configuration

There are five new printers in the X460 series: X463de, X464de, X466de, X466dwe and X466dte.  The entire series features print speeds up to 40 pages per minute, a 50-sheet ADF, e-Task color touch screen, built-in two sided scanning and a first page out as fast as six and a half seconds thanks to instant warm-up fuser technology.

The series starts with the $999 X463de 3-in-1 device featuring print, scan and copy capabilities. This model is network ready (Ethernet), has a convenient front side USB port, 128 MB of memory and a two tray input capacity of 300 sheets.

The X464de is similar to the X463de but gives the user the option of fax capability for an extra $200.

The X466de takes it up another notch with an extra 128 MB of memory for a total of 256 MB and includes an 80 GB hard disk for $1499.

The fourth and fifth printers in the series – the X466dwe and the X466dte – include all the options mentioned in the first three models.  The X466dwe comes with wireless networking for $1599; the X466dte comes with an extra 550-sheet paper tray for $1679.

The X460 series is available now through various retailers and on Lexmark’s website.
