Konica Minolta adds new bizhub color printer

Noting that less is more, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. announced the availability of the bizhub C35P A4 color laser printer.

The newest addition to the vendors line of bizhub products, the bizhub C35P A4 color printer measures in at just 16.5 x 13 inches and weighs 59 pounds.

        

Designed with noteworthy advanced features, the bizhub C35P is driven by the Empero Print System with an 800Mhz processor and 256MB DDR2 RAM and offers 31 pages per minute (ppm) of both color and B&W printing with first page delivery in less than 12.9 seconds. Maximum monthly volume is 120,000 pages. The new laser printer offers 600 x 600 dpi resolution and has an integrated auto duplexer.

Konica Minolta’s newest bizhub device uses the Simitri HD toner with Biomass, a renewable organic resource that has less environmental impact than conventional toners.

The bizhub C35P A4 Color Printer has a manufacturers suggested retail price (MSRP) of $999.99 and is available through Konica Minolta’s North American direct sales and authorized dealer channels.

Addressing the need for enhanced MFP faxing for new and existing bizhub MFP customers, Konica Minolta announced the availability of new connectivity between its bizhub Office Multifunction Products and the Open Text Fax Appliance, Fax Press Edition, an optional solution developed jointly with Open Text. Open Text is an enterprise content management (ECM) software solutions company.

According to Konica Minolta, the addition of optional connectivity targets bizhub customers who currently use the Open Text Appliance, FaxPress Edition and is designed to optimize their faxing operations by eliminating the need to purchase an additional solution to manage heavy fax environments.

The Open Text Appliance, Fax Press Edition automates the flow of fax, paper and electronic documents to help businesses deliver information securely and efficiently from virtually any application, to help organizations meet key compliance regulations such as HIPAA and SOX.
