Japanese toy maker releases camera printer

Tomy Co. Ltd has announced the xiao TIP-521, a digital camera with a built-in printer, will be released on November 28, 2008.

The Japanese toy maker is using hardware manufactured by Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd and has been licensed by Zink Imaging Inc.  Zink Imaging Inc is also working with Polaroid and Dell on Zink technology printers.

The camera is expected to retail in the US for $350 and the special printer paper is priced at $8.86 a pack.
