Internet Week New York kicked off this morning at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City with a brief welcoming note followed by HP’s news conference.

Internet Week New York runs from June 7th through the 14th and features a myriad of events at both the Metropolitan pavilion headquarters and throughout the city.

All events are focused on promoting business through the web with product announcements, featured showcases and of course parties celebrating achievements.  Anyone can participate in Internet Week New York with large and small sponsoring including HP, Yahoo!, Microsoft, Pepsi, Southwest Airlines, and AOL to name a few.

We will be on hand covering various events and announcements so stay tuned.  If you are in the New York area, check out the 12,000 square feet of exposition space.  The exhibit is open to the public throughout the week and can be purchased online or at the headquarters for $10.  See a list of all events here
