Intel Refreshes LV, ULV Processors

Intel has refreshed its lineup of Low Voltage (LV) and Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) processors with the highest-clocked variants to date. Three new processors, the Core 2 Duo SL9600, SU9600, and Core 2 Solo SU3500 have clockspeeds of  2.13GHz, 1.60GHz, and 1.4GHz respectively. The SL9600 is a LV part with a 17W TDP, the SU9600 is the highest-clocked ULV processor to date with a 10W TDP, and the SU3500 is a single-core ULV processor with a TDP of only 5.5W. These chips will not be a part of the Intel Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) platform, which will use lower-powered and lesser-priced Core 2-based chips.
