Along with the 12 new LaserJet models, HP also introduced new printers targeted at small and medium businesses, work groups and home offices.
The Officejet Pro lineup revealed several new options including the single function Officejet Pro 8100 ePrinter and the Officejet Pro 8600 multifunction series.
The Officejet Pro 8100 is the first single function ePrinter in the lineup and features a relatively sleek design reminiscent of the Officejet 7000 (without the wide format capability), print speeds up to 20 ppm in black and 16 ppm in color, 250-sheet paper tray, built-in networking with wireless connectivity, an optimized print resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dpi, automatic duplexing and HP’s ePrint technology.
The Officejet Pro 8100 does support a monthly duty cycle up to 25,000 pages and customers might consider adding a second 250-sheet paper tray to double the paper capacity.
The Officejet Pro 8600 multifunction series consists of three models: the Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One, the Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One and the Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-All-in-One.
The Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One is the 4-in-1 base model with print, scan, fax and copy functionalities as well as print speeds up to 18 ppm in black and 13 ppm in color, built-in memory card reader with front side USB port, automatic duplexing, 35-sheet ADF, 2.65-inch display with touchscreen, 250-sheet paper drawer and built-in networking with wireless connectivity.
The Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One kicks it up a notch with print speeds up to 20 ppm in black and 16 ppm in color, a 4.3-inch display with touchscreen, 50-sheet ADF and automatic duplex prints, scans and copies.
The flagship Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-All-in-One offers all of the above plus a second 250-sheet drawer standard.
